However, after plunking down quite a few hundred for Adobe Design Premium CS3 I won’t be in pursuit of Fireworks anytime soon.  Why was Fireworks not included in Design Premium by the way?

Moving on, The GIMP absolutely thinks it is a necessary thing to preserve a GIF’s data by moving each frame to an independent layer.
